Alamo RCD Area, Inc., Senior Assistance Program, sponsors the Free Food Pantry every month. The next Food Distribution is Thursday, July 11, from Noon to 1:30 p.m., at The Way Church, 7789 FM 1283. Fourteen fans were handed out in June, but there are a few more 20 inch box fans available. So many senior citizens do not have, or cannot afford, air conditioning and they really appreciate the fans. Applicants must be 55+ and reside in Bandera County.
