MEDINA LIBRARY HOSTS QUILTFEST
The Medina Community Library hosted the 14th Annual Medina Quilt Fest in the Rodney Camp Pavilion lastweek. The quilters from Medina put on this once-a-year event to showcase the talents of their members. This year’s theme involved cats, and most of the entries had cats worked into the design of the quilt. There were 94 entries composed of 60 bed/hanging quilts and other pieces of fabric art like placements, pillows, clothing, and chair covers. Embroidery was also displayed.
