A new agriculture conference focused on soil health and land management is set to debut in Bandera next month, bringing together farmers, ranchers and industry speakers from across the country.
The inaugural American Regeneration conference, hosted by Acres U.S.A., is scheduled for May 1–2 at Sovereignty Ranch in Bandera County.
Organizers say the event will center on regenerative agriculture, a growing approach that emphasizes soil health, reduced chemical inputs and long-term sustainability.
The two-day event will feature presentations, panel discussions and onsite demonstrations at the working ranch.
Topics are expected to include livestock management, soil restoration, food systems and the economic challenges facing producers, including rising input costs.
Speakers include farmers and agricultural leaders such as Rick Clark, Jimmy Emmons and Bob Quinn. Additional presenters will address topics ranging from farm economics to emerging agricultural practices.
Organizers said the event is intended to connect producers, researchers and land stewards while expanding Acres U.S.A.’s presence in Texas.
They added that the conference could become an ongoing annual gathering in the region.
Regenerative agriculture has gained attention in recent years, though some aspects of the approach — particularly related to chemical use and soil management practices — remain the subject of ongoing discussion within the agricultural community.
The event is expected to draw participants from across Texas and beyond, with a focus on practical applications of regenerative methods in real-world settings.
