$41 million Lotto Texas jackpot ticket sold in Mesquite

Special to the Bulletin

AUSTIN — A winning ticket worth an estimated $41 million jackpot from the April 20 Texas Lottery drawing was sold at a convenience store in Mesquite, lottery officials announced.

The Quick Pick ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven located at 3700 Interstate Highway 30 and matched all six numbers drawn: 21, 28, 33, 34, 43 and 44.

The winner selected the cash value option and is eligible to receive an estimated $22.5 million before taxes.

The prize had not been claimed as of the announcement.

The ticket holder has 180 days from the draw date to claim the prize. The retailer that sold the ticket may receive a $25,000 bonus through the lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.

“Monday was an unforgettable night for one Lotto Texas player, who purchased a jackpot-winning ticket,” said Courtney Arbour, executive director of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversees the Texas Lottery. “If you believe you are the lucky ticket holder, please sign your ticket, keep it in a safe place, seek financial and legal advice, and call the Texas Lottery to schedule an appointment to claim your prize.”

The jackpot began as a $5 million prize in November 2025 and rolled over 66 drawings before being won. In addition to the jackpot, 39,787 tickets won smaller prizes ranging from $2 to $12,834 in the same drawing.

The Lotto Texas jackpot resets to an estimated $5 million for the next drawing. The game requires players to select six numbers from 1 to 54, with drawings held three times a week.
