At approximately 5:30 a.m. Monday morning, a Bandera ISD bus ran into brush on the 1700 block of Bear Springs Rd. The vehicle, with the district said was carrying one student, ran into an area with brush and cedar trees in the curve. 'We are relieved to report that non one was injured,' Superintendent Gary Bitzkie said in a statement. 'We are so thankful to BISD Transportation's attention to safety, and the fact that both student and driver were safely secured in their seatbelts, so no injuries were sustained.' 09/11/2024 00:00
