The Bandera boys soccer team closed the regular season with a road victory Friday night, defeating Uvalde in a defensive-focused match.
Bandera took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a penalty kick by Alvaro Fernandez. The Bulldogs held the advantage through halftime behind a strong defensive effort.
Uvalde tied the match early in the second half, but Bandera responded with the go-ahead goal midway through the period.
Jaymin Klein scored on a corner kick assisted by Ayden Floyd.
Bandera limited Uvalde to four shots on goal in the match.
The Bulldogs enter postseason play following the win.
