The Bandera Bulldogs earned their first district win of the season Friday, defeating Canyon Lake 57-48 in overtime after a late Hawks 3-pointer forced an extra period. Bandera controlled the tempo throughout and pulled away in overtime behind 15 points from James Bower, with Jeffry Thomas adding 12 and Anden Tentis De Grote 10. Coaches said the Bulldogs secured the win with strong ball control and execution down the stretch.
