Modern day problems sometimes seem almost insurmountable when I take a look back and compare them to earlier times. In school I was always less than an entusiastic student. Generally I was thinking about what we were going to have for lunch and if my mom was going to let me go to the river instead of starting homework as soon as I came home. Nov. 5, 1946 — Sept. 28, 2023 Judith M. Klein of Vandalia, Illinois and formerly of Lakehills, Texas, passed away on Sept. 28, 2023 at the age of 76. “Judi”, as she was known to all friends and family, was born on Nov. 5, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Amundsen High School in Chicago, where she was an excellent student and participated in many clubs and organizations. Her maternal grandmother’s illness brought her and other family members to Texas, where she lived most of her life, until three years ago when she returned to Illinois. 11/01/2023 00:00
