Jalyn Lamb, Bandera High School’s Class of 2025 valedictorian, has made school history as the first Bandera Independent School District student to earn an associate degree before graduating high school.
Lamb received her Associate of Science from Palo Alto College this spring, completing the college program ahead of walking the stage for her high school diploma.
School officials praised her dedication and credited Bandera ISD’s college pathways program, which allows students to earn college credits while completing high school coursework.
“We are beyond proud of Jalyn,” read a Facebook post from Bandera ISD. “Her efforts have paved the way for others. We are Bandera Proud.”
