Read moreLouis Claude Reininger was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 17, 1946, to Alton and Evelyn Reininger. Louis was the fourth generation to proudly call their ranch in Bandera, Tx home. He always enjoyed the life of a sportsman. While still in high school he was active in 4-H and FFA and won Champion Charolais Heifer Junior Exhibitor in the 1965 Houston Livestock Show. He graduated from Bandera High School in 1965 and went on to attend Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde and then graduated with a B.S. degree in Agriculture from Southwest Texas State University in 1970.
