Loss makes Medina 5-5 in district

The Medina boys varsity basketball team lost 64-30 to Knippa last Saturday, Feb. 6, bringing their district record to 5-5 and their overall record to 10-10.

Following their victory, Knippa ranks second in the district (A! Region IV District 31) with district record of 5-2 and overall record of 6-8.

Rocksprings ranks first in the district with a 9-0 record. Their overall record is 19-2.

The Medina Bobcats, ranked fourth in the district, took on Leakey Tuesday night in their final regular season road game.

Results of that game were not available by the Bulletin’s deadline, but Leakey, ranked in the district second to last in front of Nueces Canyon, went into the game with 0-6 record overall and in the district.

The Bobcats will host Rocksprings at home in their final regular season game of the year Friday, February 12.
