Changes in the schedules for the Bandera junior varsity, varsity and middle school football teams have been announced by Bandera Independent School District athletic director and Head Football Coach Joel Fontenot-Amedee.
The junior varsity football game against Cuero has been moved to a neutral site – at Poteet High School – to make travel less demanding on the visiting team on a school night.
The game will be played on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m.
Amedee thanked the coaches at Cuero and Poteet for making sure the change happened.
In addition, the Bandera High School varsity football game against Austin-Eastside Memorial has been moved to Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. at Nelson Stadium in Austin. It had been at a different date before.
As a result of that change, the Bandera Middle School football games that originally were scheduled for Oct. 31 in Austin have been moved to Oct. 29 in Burnet against the Burnet teams.
The game times will be 5:15 p.m. for the seventh-grade B team, 6:15 p.m. for the seventh-grade A team and 7:30 p.m. for the eighth-grade team.
