Cully Doyle, the athletic director at the Medina Independent School District, has been named the Region VII senior director for the Texas Girls Coaches Association this year, the executive director of the association, Sam Tipton, has announced.
Tipton advised the superintendent of Medina ISD of the appointment by letter on Sept. 26, saying the association was giving Doyle the appointment because of the time and service Doyle had given to the TGCA.
“We extend our congratulations to Cully and to all of you at the Medina ISD for this honor,” Tipton said in his letter.
The association characterizes itself as the largest association for coaches of girls’ athletics in the nation. It lists an active membership of more than 7,000, the letter said.
