The Bandera Bulldogs powerlifting teams competed at a high level at a meet at Holy Cross on Saturday, Feb. 22, with the Lady Bulldogs finishing second in the competition while the boys team came in sixth in a large field, the teams’ coach reported. Caitlin Watson finished first in the 123-pound weight class, while Kylee Hensley finished second in the 148-pound weight class, and Anna Freeman finished second in the 165-pound class. Other top finishers for the Lady Bulldogs were Makaya Garca, who took third place in the 97-pound weight class, and Ashley Grodman, who won sixth in the 114-pound weight class.
