Suspicions could be true

Posted in:

“Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.” Hamlet says that in Shakespeare’s play.

Nowadays, I think something is rotten at the White House. Go on the internet, nose in the wind, you can smell it.

A whistleblower from one of the intelligence agencies says that President Trump recently phoned the president of the Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, several times. Joe Biden’s son had been working in the Ukraine, and Trump wanted to get dirt on him.

The U.S. had authorized a big loan to the Ukraine. Trump’s administration was delaying the loan.

One interpretation of this weird behavior is blackmail. Trump was blocking the loan until he could get dirt on Biden’s son. Trump figures that, most probably, he’ll have to face Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

So, a good move is to pressure Ukraine’s president, Zelensky. Delay the money, get the dirt on Biden’s son and then, blackmail Joe Biden, keep him in line.

I cannot prove this.

Oh, Trump did phone Zelensky. It’s in the news. And, the $250 million loan to the Ukraine was, oddly, for some unknown reason, delayed. That, too, is a matter of record.

But, does this necessarily mean blackmail?

Maybe.

Our president does lie quite a lot. You can’t trust him any further than you could throw him.

So, yeah, I consider the above scenario to be possible.
