The Bandera varsity football team traveled to Carrizo Springs Friday night, Oct. 16, to take on the Wildcats in the second game of the District 15-4A Division II season.
The Bulldogs gave Carrizo Springs everything it could handle going into the fourth quarter before a handful of untimely miscues allowed the Wildcats to pull out a 28-7 victory.
After each defense forced a punt on the opening possessions of the game, Carrizo Springs struck first on the scoreboard with a 21-yard rushing touchdown late in the first quarter.
