Friday – Sunday, Oct. 23-25 The Hill Country State Natural Area will be the site again of the Cactus Rose Ultra Trail & Relay Race, featuring 100-mile, 50-mile, a 4-by-25 mile relay race, a 36-hour race and other competitions over the three days. It will run from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The natural area is at 10600 Bandera Creek Road. Saturday, Oct. 24 The Hill Country Living Festival + Rainwater Revival put on by the Hill Country Alliance and the alliance’s sponsors will be presented online via Zoom. It is a free event featuring a morning segment beginning at 10:30 a.m.
