On Saturday, Oct. 17, the Bandera High School cross country teams competed at the Uvalde Invitational Cross Country Meet.
The varsity girls started the race off strong, with all nine girls in front running in a pack. After the first mile, the pack thinned out, and Hannah Edwards took charge of the race with Raelynn Butler, Morgan Cole and Makayla Gonzales close behind.
Trinity Butler, Danielle Gonzales, Kaitlin Doebbler and Gracie Bankston all were grouped up together battling out who would be in the top 7 for the team.
The Lady Bulldogs placed first as a team with a total of 19 points.
