The Lady Bulldog softball team held the Canyon Lake Hawks to a close game, winning 6-4 last Friday night at home.
The Bulldogs started scoring early, racking up five runs at the beginning of the game. They held the Lady Hawks scoreless until the fifth inning, when the Hawks got in the groove bringing in four runs.
The Bulldogs held their two-run lead through the seventh inning, winning the game.
The Lady Bulldogs’ improved teamwork was noticeable during the game with excellent play in the infield.
