The Medina boys basketball varsity and junior varsity teams gave the community a Christmas present with two victories last week. On Tuesday, Dec. 15, the Bobcats varsity team thumped Atonement Academy of San Antonio 55-16 at the Medina gymnasium. Wyatt Boatman led Medina in scoring with 15 points, Carter Lichtenberg had 14 points and TJ DeLeon and Davis Briley each contributed seven rebounds. The win brought the Medina varsity overall record to 3-5 on the year. On Tues., Dec. 22, Medina opened district play at Knippa.
