The Bandera County Public Library is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of a Texas Book Festival Grant for 2020.
The Texas Book Festival gives away about $100,000 every year to Texas libraries needing to grow their collection. The Bandera library received a grant for $2,500 to purchase books on agriculture, farm animal care and homesteading.
Keep an eye out for new titles on beekeeping, chickens, composting, even butchering. The library would like to thank the Texas Book Festival for helping us develop our non-fiction section.
As a reminder, Monday, Sept. 7, is Labor Day, and the library will be closed.
