The sound of soft country music, low lights and the hum of sewing machines fill the air each day at the Wildhorse Saloon as a handful of Winter Texans from the Skyline Ranch RV Park produce handmade, cloth face masks for essential services personnel in Bandera County. Members of the closeknit sewing group, who consider themselves “just Texans,” came together when the first planes carrying citizens exposed to COVID-19 began landing in San Antonio in February.
