New Pipe Creek resort plans extensive additions

Posted in:

The Nest hosted free axe throwing games during a public event recently that also included food and music. However, the owners of the outdoor event center have big things planned in the near future.

Amy Stewart said she and her two sisters, Cari Golynziak and Gianna Rojas, own the venue and hope to expand the venue to include parties, birthdays, anniversaries and more.

The Nest, located at 8161 Highway 16 S in Pipe Creek, for merly known as The Feed Barn, was purchased by Amy and her husband Michael, after moving from Florida last September.

Plans are currently underway to add eight four-person cabins, one family cabin with an eight-person capacity, a guest-only pool and pavilion area, walking trail, a star-gazing platform called The Crow’s Nest, an outdoor event area with a stage and concession area, offering gifts, snacks and essential commissary sales area for resort guests and patrons.

While their extensive project is underway, The Nest is reaching out to the public and community organizations.

“We want to help organizations like Silver Sage with charity events, Amy stated. “We want to help the community. We are all about community.”

Stewart said that free axe throwing games will return and a weekly pay-tournament is not far off.
