On Saturday. November 7, John Towers went to a better place at the age of 71 after a long battle with Cancer.

John was born on September 18, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, to Richard Towers and May Powers.

He worked many years for the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union before he decided to open his own business, Towers Services.

John semi-retired a few years ago and found a love for making jewelry. He also had a deep passion for guns and knives. He spent a lot of his time at the Bandera Gun Club where he taught many people how to handle and shoot guns.

He loved to make people laugh and spend time at the coast fishing. John raised two chil

John raised two children, son Richard Towers and daughter Mickie (Towers) Carnes.

John’s family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.

The family would like to thank Alamo Hospice and Cedar Creek Nursing Home for their kindness.
