Knights of Columbus, Council 10258 in Bandera has awarded Don Cody Memorial Continuing Education Scholarships to five St. Stanislaus parishioners returning to college following their freshman year, the council has reported. The five students were presented $1,200 scholarships for demonstrating superior academic performance and volunteering in community, school, and church activities at their college campuses, said Alan Zimmel, the Scholarship Committee chairman for the Knights of Columbus council.
