The Arthur Nagel Community Clinic recently announced a $50,000 grant from the Perry & Ruby Stevens Foundation of Kerrville in support of its Well-Woman Program, which provides primary and preventive health care for women in Bandera County with little or no health insurance.
The Well-Woman Program encompass a variety of services, including comprehensive physical
evaluations; pregnancy tests and birth control advice; screening for and treatment of STIs,
cervical, breast, skin and colon cancers; and treatment and prevention of diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension. Referrals for in-house Integrated Behavioral Health counseling are made as deemed necessary.
