Congressman’s director to brief Republican Women

Nathan Craig McDaniel, the district director for first-term U.S.

Rep. Chip Roy, R-Austin, will discuss current issues confronting Congress when he makes a presentation to the Bandera County Republican Women on Thursday, Oct. 3.

McDaniel is a former student body president at Texas State University who became first an intern and later the communications director for state Sen. Donna Campbell, R-New Braunfels, before being named the campaign manager for Roy in his race for Congress last year and then the congressman’s district director.

Roy represents Texas’ 21st Congressional District, which includes Bandera County.

The Republican Women will meet at the Bandera Electric Cooperative’s Community Room, 3172 Highway 16 North in Bandera, beginning with a social hour at 5 p.m. The meeting, which will include McDaniel’s talk, will start at 6 p.m.
