City eyes angler grant

Bandera Mayor Pro Tem Rebeca Gibson will hold a meeting during next Wednesday’s Fish for Fun Event regarding a potential grant that would allow potential funding opportunity for angler access and fish habitat improvements in Bandera City Park. The city of Bandera was recently approached by conservation biologist Ryan Mc-Gullicuddy of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TWPD) regarding the grant, which if implemented would be worth between $25 and $50 thousand dollars.
