Three hundred cases of severe lung disease across the U.S. suddenly erupted in August and early August in an epidemic that’s making teens sick. Texas has its share of cases. Many victims of this outbreak are teens. They’re on ventilators in hospitals around the country to help them breathe. Some are in intensive care to keep them alive. One has died.
