Two students from Bandera, two from Medina and two from Pipe Creek made the Dean’s List at Angelo State University in San Angelo during the fall semester of the current school year, the university has reported.
The local students who earned the distinctions were Cora Bishop-petty and Sara Lutz of Pipe Creek, Meagan Denn and Joshua Hinds of Medina and Justin Galley and Jazlynn Lewis of Bandera.
To be eligible for the ASU Dean’s List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain at least a 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, the university said.
Angelo state is a four-year public school in the Texas Tech University System that was founded in 1928. University officials said it has been ranked as one of The Princeton Review’s “Best Colleges” in the nation since 2010.
