Posted in:

Two Bandera High School athletes have signed scholarships to play at Texas colleges or universities next year, and three have signed commitment statements that will send them to colleges to compete, officials with the Bandera Independent School District said last week.

The scholarships have been received by Caitlyn Thrasher to run cross country at Mary Hardin Baylor University and by Jordan Edwards to run cross country and track at Hardin Simmons University.

Commitment letters have been signed by Kristin Salas to play basketball at McMurray College, by Penelope Garcia to play softball at Texas A&M University – San Antonio and by Solomon MacNeil to play football at Citrus College in California, officials said.

The district said those were the signings as of Thursday, June 18.
