In Acts 9:15, God calls Saul his instrument, his tool, for carrying His word to the non-Jews. I have many tools in my workshop, and each one has a specific pm-pose. If I try to use a screwdriver to drive a nail, I will probably damage the screwdriver. In like manner, God has called Saul (Paul) into a specific ministry which no one else is called to fill.

As stated in the Bulletin this was decided due to the risks that cooking and putting on the event places on their volunteers during this time of COVID-19. It is a great example of placing “lifes” in front of “profit”. In support of this I have made a small donation to them and invite others to do the same. Their website reflects a mailing address of PO Box 1226, Bandera TX 78003. If they are like most churches, please indicate on your check that you want your donation to go to the Wild Game fund. I have learned that I better be selective on who I listen to, and I am certainly convinced I may never trust some media sources ever again. Social media has allowed anyone in the world to post whatever they want, whenever they want without any supporting documents or proof. Unfortunately, I have also learned that the majority of people believe what they read on social media without questioning the validity of it. There are so many arguments out there about whether masks work or not, “Is the vaccine going to be safe?”, “Are children in danger?” and originally whether COVID-19 was even real. I have certainly learned the answer to the last one as has the rest of the world. I don’t remember at any point in my lifetime losing so many close people or seeing so many funeral announcements. The pain and suffering brought on by this pandemic will never be forgotten by any of us in this country.
