The price of a gallon of gasoline tops $3 across much of the state, which is up more than $1.20 from a year ago, according to AAA. The average price for regular gas in Texas stood at $3.03 per gallon on Sunday as crude oil prices continue to creep up, closing above $80 per barrel. Crude oil price is one of a quartet of factors that influence the cost of gasoline, reported The Dallas Morning News. The cost of refining, distribution expenses and taxes also affect the price at the pump.

Read moreMy nightmare started with a simple request. Daniel, the intrepid editor of the Bandera Bulletin, emailed me one morning asking for any Bandera ghost stories. I had always heard the old 1881 jail was haunted. I’ve been in the jail plenty of times during the day, showing tourists and local folks the old sheriff’s office, the cell block where inmates carved graffiti into the floor, and the repaired spot in the limestone wall where a determined inmate had once chiseled through the mortar to escape. Nothing extraordinary had ever happened during those tours, no clacking chains or mournful moans. But I figured, nighttime could be different. This may be my opportunity to finally put the rumors of a haunting to rest.

Read moreWho would think or say such a thing? Who would even contemplate such an idea? Our liberal Federal government, that’s who. I have been writing articles for the Bulletin for several years now and done a tremendous amount of research and came to a conclusion I did not believe. I am not going to tell you that this conclusion is 100 percent accurate or even plausible. What I am going to tell you is that based on the research I have done it is the conclusion I have arrived at. I will also tell you that this is an extremely controversial article and if you are not prepared, I recommend you stop reading. The question you should ask yourself is how this conclusion affects me the citizen of Bandera County Texas. Let’s review the biding. We have been in a major war for the last 20 plus years. Thousands of Americas sons and daughters have died in faraway lands so politicians on both sides of the isle can get fat and rich, at the expense of your loved ones. Then they have the nerve to say this Country was never really that great. Look what Biden just did, he gave our enemy 100s of millions of dollars in cash and billions of dollars in equipment when we pulled out of Afghanistan. Keep in mind the Taliban were and still are the animals that are killing our sons and daughters, your sons, and daughters. The liberals agree with the practice of slaughtering unborn babies up to and even after birth in some instances. Thus, destroying the moral fabric of this country. I am at a loss for words. What people would stand for this? What people would condone this? Life has become cheap and can be bought for a buck 98.
