Flags were lowered to halfstaff on Friday, May 15, in recognition of Peace Officers Memorial Day across the county, and two Bandera County law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty over the years were honored thanks to the efforts of Bandera County Commissioner Bruce Eliker.
