Let’s All Vote in the GOP Primary
I’ve lived in Texas for over forty years, but it wasn’t until I moved to Bandera a few years ago that I learned much about Texas politics. The occasion was the 2020 Presidential election, and I volunteered at the polls along with a very interesting bunch of fellow volunteers, Republicans and Democrats alike.

CHARLES (SONNY) LINUS BATTO, JR.
Charles (Sonny) Linus Batto, Jr., of Bandera, passed away on Feb. 15, 2024, in Bandera at 90 years of age. He was born in San Antonio to Charles and Lydia (Ploch) on Aug. 21, 1933, and was later adopted by Hazele (Greiner). And he married Mary Ann Fisher on Oct. 9, 1957, at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church in San Antonio.
