Youth rodeo recognizes top finishers

Brody Barker was the high-point winners among the boys, and Grace Kelley was the high-point winner in the girls’ division in the Youth Summer Rodeo Series put on at Mansfield Park this summer by the Bandera Rodeo Club.

Those titles came with a saddle for the two winners as well.

The high-point qualifiers in each division and their scores were Barker, 211, Kase Riley, 202, C.J. Johnson, 87, and Chance Rademacher, 55, for the boys, and Kelley, 163, Callie Kohlenberg, 149, Emily Grant, 150, Julie Lipka, 74, Cealy Billings, 120, Harley Huff, 143, and Caitlin Castro, 93, for the girls.

To qualify for the high-point honors, a competitor needed to take part in three of the five rodeos in the series and participate in three rodeo events.

The final youth rodeo in the summer series was held on Aug. 24. The top finishers in each of the events and their times or scores were:
