The Medina Independent School District is celebrating homecoming this week with a football game at Bobcat Stadium against McDade on Friday, Oct. 30, and a homecoming parade down Main Street in Medina on Saturday, Oct. 31, starting at 10 a.m.
The football game will start Friday at 7:30 p.m. The coronation of the high school’s homecoming court will take place that day at Bobcat Stadium at 6 p.m.
On Thursday, Oct. 29, the school will hold a pep rally and the lighting of the “M” also at Bobcat Stadium at 6:30 p.m.
The homecoming parade fill feature floats and vehicles occupied by alumni of the school district from different years. Those entrants are asked to line up for the parade by 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, which is when the floats will be judged.
After the parade at the MISD cafeteria, the homecoming alumni program will be held beginning at 11 a.m. Classes that graduated in years ending in “1” will be recognized during the program.
