Bobcats have another long night

Posted in:

The Medina football team and its fans had another long trip on another long night of being on the wrong end of a big score.

The Bobcats lost to Richland Springs 52-0 at the neutral site of Mable Falls on a cold-and-windy Friday, Oct. 11.

“It was not a good game for us on either defense or offense. The bright spots during the night were Wyatt Boatman returning the kickoffs, Nate Aguilar’s 65-yard scamper, Dawson Simons’ 31- yard pass reception and Gavin Walters’ 31-yard pass reception,” said Medina’s first-year football Coach Kurt Nichols. “We are open this next week (Oct. 18), then we open district with Prairie Lea there on Oct. 25.”
