Bass fishing contest big hit

Faith Angler Network, or FAN, South held its first high school bass fishing tournament on Medina Lake on Saturday, Feb. 22, and drew a big crowd of young anglers and supporters. ‘We had a great response to this first youth bass fishing event at Medina Lake,” said Justin Rieger, vice president of FAN South, about the 60 boats and 120 young anglers, fishing in teams of two, at the lake. “A lot of big bass were caught, and many of the contestants got their limit of five bass,” Rieger said.
