RE: GARY MOORE’S APRIL 13 COLUMN

Congratulations to Judge Jackson, confirmed along party lines as was Judges Barrett, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch. I wasn’t surprised and, I’m not disappointed in the outcome. I don’t much care, to be honest.

What is upsetting is Moore’s unmitigated hypocrisy given the treatment by democrats “den of cowardly jackals” when interrogating Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett all, I might add, in front of their families.

In this day and time, and given the bloody sport of politics, why shouldn’t Jackson’s background, judicial deci sions and political bend be closely scrutinized? Why should she be treated differently? Is she special? In this context, I think not. I’m not saying it’s right but, I am saying that when the “shoes on the other foot,” there’s a lot of whining and hand wringing.

But surely, Gary Moore, “former English and football coach, journalist, script writer and photographer” would know that.
