ABBOT’S RECENT ACTIONS

Just recently, governor Abbott detained hundreds of large trucks coming out of Mexico. Mostly, these trucks were bringing vegetables and fruit for sale in Texas. See, our governor was worried. So, he started up his “security” checks, stopping most of the big trucks coming in.

This caused problems. The trucks would just sit there, engines running, because, if you turned off the air conditioning, the vegetables and fruit would begin to rot. And then, on the trip back, they had to fill up gas all over again so the truckers could return to Mexico. Say, just lately, have you noticed? Vegetables and fruit have gotten more expensive in Texas.

Well, governor Abbott didn’t find any guns or drugs or, slaves wrapped in chains. But, he had to do what he had to do, he said something like that.

Me, I think he is acting kind of nutty. He didn’t think the whole thing through. Probably, pretty soon, he’ll blame it all on “the other guy.”
