We began our first day of school at the Medina Independent School District (on Sept. 8) like a well-oiled machine despite many new norms and new tasks to perform by each of our staff members. All students, staff and parents dropping off kids were temperature checked, had hands sanitized and wore face coverings as they entered the school.
