Posted in:

The Medina Wordsmiths Writers Group will hold its monthly meeting at the Medina Community Library on Tuesday, July 28, from 3:30 – 5 p.m.

Writers of any experience level are invited to take part in the free event.

A book sale also will continue in one of the library’s room through the end of July. Visitors taking part in the sale can purchase a bag for $10 and fill it with as many books, magazines, DVDs and other materials from the sale as possible.

Proceeds from the sale benefit library operations.

In addition, the Little Ones’ Story Time activity will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 29 and every Wednesday from 10:30 – 11 a.m. Due to safety concerns associated with the COVID-19 outbreak, that event is being held through the Zoom app.

Parents wanting to enroll their children in the activity can call the library at 830- 589-2825 to reserve a place.

The Bey Blade Academy also meets every Friday at the library for newcomers and more experienced Bey Blade players. It runs from 4-5 p.m. on Fridays.

The library is at 13948 Highway 16 North in Medina and is open at 10 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays. The library closes at 6 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
