Re: Darlene Logan’s letter titled “School modification for new year proposed,” July 8, 2020 - Amid the distractions created by those who politicize the pandemic, it was refreshing to hear the voice of reason from a student who offered a solution to the problem of how to open the schools safely in the fall. His proposal “to require only the students who made below a C average last semester to attend school (in person)” is quite insightful and in keeping with a basic principle of equity to not treat everyone the same, but to target aid to those most in need.
