Rita Ruth Simons, 70, of Medina, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Bandera Texas to Geneive Hubble Whitehead and Ervin C. Whitehead on July 13, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Rex Simons. Rita Simons is survived by daughters, Rachel Simons of San Antonio, and Judith Simons and husband, John Salazar, of Kerrville, sons, Allen Simons and wife, Lorraine, of The Woodlands, Texas, and Michael Simons of Medina, Texas, brother E.
