Margie Ann Martinez beloved mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Left this world suddenly on Sunday, January 23rd at the age of 55 in her hometown of Bandera Texas. She was born to Marcelino and Nicolasa Martinez on September 17th, 1967.

After graduating high school in 1986. Margie dedicated her life to her family. While raising several of her nieces and nephews throughout the years she cared for her parents until they were both called home. If you asked her what her greatest achievement was, she would have smiled and said it was being a mother to her son Jayden. Whom she loved so deeply; he brought the greatest joy to her life. Margie loved without reserve and gave of herself without hesitation. She was truly the beating heart of our family. Her memory will never fade, and we will all carry her in our hearts until we are reunited.

Margie is Preceded in death by Victoria Fernandez, Victoriano Martinez, Leroy Anthony Martinez, Aurturo Martinez, Marcelino Rico Martinez, Nicolasa Martinez and Alma Rosa Martinez.

Remaining to Cherish Margie’s memory are Jason Herrera, Jayden Daniel Martinez, Elsie Martinez & Michael Brantley, Guadalupe & Teri Martinez, Sara & Bryan White, Gene & Irma Martinez, Amy Perrusquia, Roy Martinez, Michael Martinez, Leticia Martinez, Brenda Martinez, Arthur Cooper, Christopher Cooper, Roxanne Martinez, Mandy Martinez, Michelle & Ernest Valdez, Lucas Duarte, Selena Martinez, Marcelino Martinez Jr, Robert Valdez, Faith Rose Valdez, Ernest Valdez Jr, Skyler Valdez, Samuel & Jana Herrera, Kia Herrera, Manuel Herrera. And so many more...

A celebration of life was held on March 27 at 4 p.m. at Grimes funeral Home with Father Frank of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church officiating. Followed by food, drinks and a memorial lantern release.

Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.
