EDWARD MICHAEL QUEST
Edward Michael Quest died at his home in Pipe Creek, Texas on January 27, 2021.
Ed was born on September 26, 1951, in Watertown, Wisconsin. He was raised on family dairy farms in Wisconsin and Colorado. In 1969, Ed enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a jet engine mechanic and crew chief. During the Vietnam War, he served in Thailand. In the mid-1990s, he moved to Pipe Creek and found his forever home. Ed opened his own small engine repair shop in downtown Pipe Creek and enjoyed the shop and his customers for 20 years, until poor health forced his retirement. Many people in the community remember his kindness and willingness to offer a helping hand during his time as a resident in Pipe Creek.
Ed was preceded in death by his father, Donald Gerhardt Quest, his mother, Helen Agnes Thoma and his brother, Tommy. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Studstill and their little dog, Thor. He is also survived by nine brothers and sisters, Carol, Jim, Ron, Susan, Eva, Joe, Kristy, Helen, Dave, and their families
Due to the pandemic, a small memorial service will be held at a later date.
