I am writing this article, not to elicit words of sympathy but to give words of comfort to those who are currently or will be suffering from afflictions like what I am enduring. For several weeks, I have been trying to recover from pneumonia, which has resisted treatment. It has been accompanied with high amounts of pain, shortness of breath and pleurisy, which has required drainage of fluids from my chest.
