From Aug. 2027, each night began with a potluck dinner that was followed by live music. At 99 years old, Buck was the oldest in attendance. He is a World War II veteran sand singer/ songwriter, performing songs he wrote in his career at dance halls all over Texas. Sloan says he is up for another year and hopes to make the 47th Reunion and his 100th birthday next year.
