A woman in a Pipe Creek area home was shot in the abdomen Monday morning, Sept. 21, when she reportedly dropped a pistol she was holding and it discharged when it hit the ground, investigators said. Bandera County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Matt King said the incident occurred about 10:45 a.m. on Monday in a residence on Pipe Creek Drive.
